As a Business Analyst Manager, what is your management style?
To be honest, Business Analysts are the frustrated group of talents to manage. You will never cease to be amazed by what your team members can do, other than exceptionally emotionally amazingly good job!
So the very first thing you do is to motivate and be supportive. At every single corner, they can be wrong. Still, they will need you be on their side always. Say yes-and all the time, please.
Process control and be agile can go along. BAs are process makers and change controllers, right? They know processes are for people to keep track on what are happening, and how to connect the dots. Still, changes or improvements are always there. We call them opportunities, aren't they? Make a big room for improvement and listen to with your arms open.
Be decisive and assertive when things are at their ends. At least, let them know what they are doing in your definition of quality. They will help by improving themselves, or bargaining with you about the quality standards within the triangle of constraints.
Hope this helps.
